STARTING SALARY: £26,000 Basic Salary / £40,000 OTE (includes basic salary)

EXPECTED SALARY AFTER 6 MONTHS: £40,000 Basic Salary / £60,000 OTE (includes basic salary) (Please note: This salary and commission structure will only become available once agreed targets have been met)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Enterprise Sales Manager / Business Development Executive that has excellent prospecting, negotiating and closing skills.

Working as the Enterprise Sales Manager / Business Development Executive you will generate new revenues for the business to an agreed monthly target of invoiced margin, focusing on a specific sector, region and product set.

The role will have a clearly defined growth period over the first 6 months, with the expectation that both target and salary will increase accordingly as shown above.

As the Enterprise Sales Manager / Business Development Executive you will focus on selling messaging solutions (Live Chat, SMS, In App notifications and Facebook Messenger) to enterprise level retail and finance companies within the UK.

DUTIES

Reporting to the Senior VP Sales your duties and responsibilities as the Enterprise Sales Manager / Business Development Executive:

  • Identify new business opportunities within your specified sector for which to sell multiple messaging solutions to
  • Telephone, email, online and face-2-face communication with prospects at all stakeholder levels
  • Pipeline creation, management and deal closing, plus price and contract negotiation
  • Management of opportunities and deals supported by Salesforce database to ensure visibility to SVP Sales.
  • Grow your business in-line with expected target growth as part of your agreed strategy
  • Demonstrate sustainable growth through new opportunity creation and be able to quantify and qualify these actions
  • Create and deliver against your agreed plan, outlining your strategy for acquisition, management and delivery of new business relationships within your specific sector
  • Create strong alliances with prospects, customers, partners and internal stakeholders
  • Report your output against key performance indicators (KPIs) and Management Business Objectives (MBOs), to senior management 
  • Outline to senior management the ongoing delivery of your sales plan, with any changes and strategic alterations to ensure you keep within a level of agreed tolerance

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

  • Must have previous experience selling within a B2B environment
  • Evidence of delivering consistent value to your previous and current roles and achievement against targets. You will be expected to show evidence of your success in your interview.
  • Extremely strong verbal, email and face-2-face communication skills and the ability to converse with stakeholders at all levels within a business up to C-Level
  • Well-organised, strong leadership and influencing skills, problem-solving approach, self-starter, able to build relationships at all levels
  • Experience of identifying new business opportunities

DESIRABLE

  • Understanding the technology involved in the mobile space (SMS, Messaging, App notifications, Live Chat, Voice)
  • Experience in same or relevant industry with understanding of marketing programs to help drive new business growth
  • Demonstrated ability to take new products and services to market
  • Able to contribute to product development process
