This company, a specialist manufacturer who are the UK's market leader in their industry, are undergoing a period of huge expansion with plans to develop overseas. They are investing heavily into the business in the next few years and wish to develop the procurement function.
In this role, you will be in charge of a portfolio of suppliers and be responsible for the ordering, delivery and management of materials. You will develop the relationships with the suppliers by acting as first point of contact as well constantly looking to improve all processes and systems within the company.

The Role:
*Overseeing a portfolio of suppliers
*Arranging the ordering and delivery process
*Fostering excellent supplier relationships
The Person:
*Prior experience of purchasing within a manufacturing environment
*Knowledge of contractual and commercial negotiations
*Ideally CIPs qualified or working towards this
