A vacancy has arisen for an experienced manager to join a large care provider. The home specialises in providing person centred care to children and young people in a residential setting. The role comes with an excellent salary and benefits package and you will receive excellent support and guidance from the Senior management and head office teams.
The position:
The role is based in a residential service for children and young people aged up to 19. The position comes with a competitive salary and benefits including bonus, pension, enhanced annual leave and ongoing training and development.
There are many duties involved in the role of Home Manager including:
* Lead and manage the staff team
* Create a homely atmosphere which in a service for young people with learning disabilities, autism and EBD
* Financial control of the service including profit and loss
* Staff recruitment, training and development
The person:
Ideally you will be currently managing a similar service and you must have extensive experience of working in children's residential settings. You will have knowledge of complex needs and experience of EBD and attachment disorders.
You must hold NVQ Level 5 Health & Social Care, Children & Young People and Registered Care Managers Award or equivalent
