Due to continuing business success and growth we now have a fantastic opportunity available for a Weighbridge Operator to join our team in Taunton. Working 47 hours per week - Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings

Weighbridge Operator key responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with all Company procedures and policies.
- Ensuring all waste inputs and outputs are weighed correctly and the correct tickets produced.
- Operating the computer weighing system to ensure the correct charges are made to customers.
- Ensuring waste being received is acceptable as per the site waste management licence, reporting exceptions via the approved procedure.
- Being able to communicate with customers and drivers in a polite, firm and fair manner.
- Assisting customers with queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Compiling any reports required in a timely and professional manner.
- Carrying out any other duties as required to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ability to work unsupervised at times.
- Knowledge of computer software applications.
- Good communication skills.
- Good understanding of MS office packages to include word and excel.
- Good customer focused skills.
- Admin skills including creating reports.
- Working within low levels of supervision.
- Weighbridge/ Admin operations.
- Computer qualifications.
- English & Maths to GCSE level or equivalent.
