New and Used Car Sales Manager

Our client is a family run business who prides themselves on caring for their staff just as much as their customers, treating both with old-fashioned courtesy and respect. Right now our client is looking for a highly self motivated person with a previous proven track record in the automotive industry to join their team in Gateshead.​​

The successful candidate will have:

-       The ability to lead by example, manage and inspire the team to deliver their best performance.

-       Strong customer focus with a talent for connecting and communicating with people

-       Professional negotiation skills.

-       Good computer literacy.

Your responsibilities: 

-       To motivate the sales team to achieve their ultimate performance.

-       Set objectives and provide regular feedback on performance against these objectives. 

-       To maximise performance and ensure that all sales executives have a current goal and to support individuals development. 

-       To assist the sales team on a day to day basis along with looking at longer term goals and how they can be achieved.

-       Ensure that compliance to company and brand manufacturer standards and quality is enforced and that it meets all the obligations whilst still relating to and maximising the customer experience.

-       Maintain good relationships with Brand manufacturers.

-       Implementation of set targets ensuring the team are maximising every opportunity

-       Encourage the sales team to review processes to ensure they are working efficiently. 

-       Be receptive to new ways of processes and actively encourage the sales team to try out new ideas

-       Inspire the sales team to deliver an Excellent Customer Experience for every customer that the sales team comes into contact with. 

-       Manage the day to day sales activities and administration such as deal files, handovers, sales funnel to maximise sales revenue.
