Our client designs and manufactures precision forged, machined components and fully finished parts in their fully integrated facility in the heart of the UK. They are now looking to appoint two Etch Operatives, one to join their Machining division and the other to join their Aerostructures Forge division.

You will be responsible for etching machined aerospace components using various acids and chemicals to the required visual and dimensional standards. The materials etched will include Titanium, Aluminium and Steel Alloys.

In order to be successful in this role, candidates must have experience of working in a similar environment and be able to work strictly in accordance with laid down processes and procedures. With good interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and achieve business objectives, you will be pro-active in improvement activity and be able to meet tight deadlines. Responsible for own actions, you will be able to communicate effectively across all departments and be able to react quickly to rework issues to ensure company targets are met.

Experience within an etching or chemical processing role is preferred but not essential, as is a Fork Lift Truck licence and Crane licence.
