The CMM Operator is an integral part of the Machining division with responsibility for the accurate measurement of products.

Understanding the principles of CMM and their usage, you must ensure the safe operation of CMM machines and deliver measured components in line with customer requirements. Supporting the New Part Introduction Process and influencing Machine Utilisation and Right First Time Measures, you will carry out routine checks on all equipment and ensure product quality and batch traceability is maintained at all times.

With a good understanding of CMM principles, the successful candidate will have CMM experience within a similar environment and be knowledgeable in statistical process control (SPC). With good interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and achieve business objectives, you will have a fair understanding of engineering drawings and be proficient in both Microsoft packages and PC DEMIS.

They’d also like you to possess a Forklift Truck Licence and / or an Overhead Crane Licence however this is not essential.
