Our clients' success and award-winning apps have led to continued growth in both the range of digital services they offer and their continued innovation and development of apps. They now have a fantastic opportunity for a Scrum Master to take on responsibility for the output of the digital project team.
The role includes performance management of their small internal team and digital suppliers, development of the team taking responsibility for all resource planning (through strategic and IT skills and cost base analysis) as well as driving forward innovation for the future development and growth of their digital services.
You will have experience in maintaining a technical focus with appropriate knowledge of the technologies used and be willing to have technical involvement with the team and the client to support the digital team in getting the job done.
Essential:
- Leading the team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values
- Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization and ensuring Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to
- Applying Agile/Scrum techniques to virtual teams of in-house, outsourced and off site resources
- Removing impediments and building a robust team or structure to remove the impediment
- Facilitating discussion, decision-making and conflict resolution, getting the work done without coercion, assigning or dictating the work
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency and growing confidence in development
- Ensuring appropriate governance/assurance for application development outputs and outcomes
- Supporting and educating the product owner
Desirable, but not essential:
- JIRA
- React Native, Ionic, HTML Wordpress, Ruby on Rails, Postgresql, Git, Heroku, AWS, Mobile App Development, Windows Azure
- Pen testing experience
- TDD/BDD practice
