Interim FP&A Manager - Immediate start.
Manchester based;
Contract;
My client is offering up to £400 p/day DOE.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading Commmercial Organisation as one of the key FP&A professionals.
Our client is seeking a candidate to lead the FP&A team in the provision of all financial management information within the Group, and manage the team.
Your Key Responsibilities;
- You will manage the FP&A functions - ad hoc reporting, expense queries, budgeting/planning, underwriting and expenses analysis.
- You will lead the overall team in preparation of high quality MI and presentation material.
- Support strategic decision making and modelling, partnering and liaising with stakeholders.
- You will assist in the coordination and delivery of Group and Entity monthly and quarterly results and MI including high quality analysis of trends, variances and performance issues.
- You will develop and enhance the quality and timeliness of KPI's and MI for the EC, Boards.
- You will support the maintenance and development of the Group planning and forecasting model ensuring inputs are accurately align with planning activity and output from the annual accounting model.
- You will manage the coordination and scheduling of the quarterly forecast and annual planning process.
- You will manage the production of regular insightful analysis of the financial results of key competitors highlighting relevant comparison to Company results.
- You will help develop process improvements and enhance reporting.
- You will assist in any ad hoc work and projects as required.
Role Essentials:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Working background in a similar role within the banking sector, or wider financial services experience preferred.
