Job Title: BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEER

Location: BRISTOL

Role Purpose: Working as part of a National Engineering Services team you will have the

opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the UK and Europe.

As part of this global provider of Real Estate Services our Client is a specialist group providing commercially focused Engineering Services consultancy to a wide range of blue chip organisations and investors.

They provide survey, design and procurement advice along with on-going management of Engineering Services maintenance contracts, monitoring the overall service delivery on behalf of many blue chip clients and investors.

The National Engineering Services team consists of 40 Building Services Engineers and provides a platform for professional and career development. The Bristol team is a developing area of the business which falls within the regional Engineering office teams to primarily cover the South West region.

You will have professional experience within the Engineering Services Industry to ensure work is

carried out to a specified standard having had a consultancy or facilities services background and experience of Mechanical and Electrical projects or main project teams.

IT Knowledge to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Project plus design software along with AutoCAD is preferable.

Key Responsibilities

_ On site Engineering Services inspections and survey reports

_ Engineering Contractor Monitoring

_ Prepare M&E designs and calculations for preferably Electrical engineering systems in buildings

(alternatively for HVAC systems with Electrical systems knowledge/experience)

_ Prepare budget cost estimates for project designs.

_ Project Management of Engineering Services projects

_ Act as Engineering consultant as part of a larger project team.

_ Producing Engineering Service Lifecycle Plans

_ Ability to advise on Engineering Service Compliance and recent Energy guidance

_ Facility Maintenance Contractor monitoring and reporting

_ Client meetings and reporting

Person Specification/Requirements

_ Educated to degree level or equivalent, with relevant Engineering Studies

_ Member and/or working towards CIBSE accreditation

_ Experience working within the commercial property market would be an advantage

_ Demonstrable experience within a similar role

_ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels of seniority

_ Diligent and pro-active

_ Ability to prioritise and act on own initiative

_ Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail

_ A flexible approach to work with a willingness to travel would be essential

_ Excellent report writing skills

_ Working Knowledge of UK standards

_ Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

_ IT Knowledge to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Project plus design software along with

AutoCAD is preferable
