This is an exciting opportunity to join the first All Ability Academy in Bucks. Currently there are approximately 950 pupils, including a vibrant Sixth Form, and the academy’s popularity means that the number is increasing each year. This post offers the chance to become involved in the running of a culturally diverse and forward-thinking school, rated Good by Ofsted in 2016.

You will join our successful, forward thinking Science department which consists of ten teaching staff and two other technicians. Your responsibilities will include preparation of materials and equipment for practical lessons, organisation and ordering of materials, together with admin and general maintenance work. Health and Safety training will be provided. Previous experience of working in school science labs or related area such as biology would be an advantage but is not essential.

Highcrest offers excellent CPD for more experienced teachers.

Salary - Pay range 3 (£20,957 - £22,652 PA pro rata which equates to £9,607.10 - £10,384.13 PA)
Part Time – 20 hours for 39 weeks per year (Tues – Fri with some flexibility on hours), Permanent
