IT TECHNICIAN

LOUTH

£Excellent DOE, 37.5 hours per week (9:00 – 5:30 Mon to Fri)

Our established, Louth based, client is looking to strengthen their Technical Team with the addition of an IT Specialist to meet growing business demand.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, confident and capable IT Technician to join a friendly, expanding, team. You will need a good understanding of all Microsoft operating systems and have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role. Being a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) would be advantageous.

The role will encompass providing both remote and on-site problem diagnosis, support, management and installation of a variety of hardware, software, security, network products and services for clients both throughout Lincolnshire and nationally.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end user support for Microsoft client operating systems
  • Management and support of Microsoft Windows Server OS (including Active Directory and Group Policy), Office 365 and other cloud services, Cisco network switches and DrayTek routers
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues within SLAs and in a professional manner? Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products
  • Where necessary, liaise with third-party support and IT equipment vendors
  • Ensuring all client's technical information is documented and kept up to date
  • Outstanding communication with your team, management and our clients
  • Undertake small to medium-sized IT projects as instructed
