Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to support various classes in KS3/KS4 on behalf of a well run and large secondary school based in Bury.

The role will be providing general classroom support within KS3/KS4 so you must be comfortable supporting this age range.

The position will be to start from February half term until the end of the academic year, on a full time basis.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who possesses the following:

• Be a trained teaching assistant to level 3 as a minimum
• Will use own initiative and be highly motivated
• Recent experience with KS3/KS4 children (within the last 12 months is preferred)
• Can develop professional relationships with pupils and staff
• Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour, and an understanding of how all children learn best
• Have experience with challenging behaviour and be confident with behaviour management
