Breakfast Cook/Chef – Contract Catering – Monday- Friday 7am- 3pm
Servest are recruiting for a Breakfast Chef to be based within a head office site in Welwyn garden City. You will report into the Head Chef and work in a kitchen team of 4. Day to day the role involves you cooking breakfasts, food preparation using quality food, from fresh seasonal ingredients for other food services throughout the day as well as kitchen duties such as cleaning. You will be responsible for producing healthy, quality food that is well presented to the customers onsite.
We are ideally looking for a Chef with a background from a Business and Industry site / Breakfast Chef background.
The position is working Monday- Friday 7am – 3pm however some flexibility will be needed as there may be some evening and weekends that will need covering
What we are looking for?
- A background within Business and Industry Catering as a Chef and/or experience as a Breakfast Chef
- A passion for preparing and cooking from fresh ingredients
- Experience in a unit which services around 150 using the catering for breakfast
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate
- 706 1 & 2 or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential
- Superb customer service skills
- Excellent team working ability
- Training and development will be given from the onsite senior management team
Servest are offering a Competitive pay rate working 37.5 hours per week
The site has onsite parking and a shuttle bus that runs from the train station, you will also have an auto enrolment pension and 20 days holiday and other benefits such as subsidised meals that are offered with the unit.
