ICT Teacher

Currently, we are working closely with a large secondary academy in the Stockport area, and they are looking to strengthen their ICT faculty by appointing a strong Computing and Computer Science teacher who can help reinforce the school's core values and educational principals.

The successful candidate will need to display:

*Thorough subject knowledge of ICT and Computing up to GCSE, with the ability to teach Computer Science at A Level being a huge advantage
*Good behaviour management. Behaviour at the school is good but keeping pupils consistently on track is a must
*Delivery of consistently good and outstanding lessons to ensure more-able students are suitably challenged and areas for improvement are regularly identified
*Good communication skills between peers, colleagues, SLT members and others around the school
*A sense of humour and the ability to remain calm under pressure

The school is looking to appoint staff with the ability to communicate well with parents and colleagues, particularly identifying areas for improvement with its pupils and making others aware about a particular students' needs. They are looking for staff that can display excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to challenge and inspire the most-able pupils to secure the very best outcomes.
