Architectural Technician

An Architectural Technician is required for a leading multi-disciplinary practice in Somerset. This Award-Winning practice has been established for over 30 years and has an ever growing portfolio. Within this practice, you will find Architects, Landscape Architects, Conservation Architects and Interior Designers.

Projects wise you can find yourself working on projects in the UK and overseas. On offer is the chance to work for a progressive architectural practice and to gain experience on a wide variety of projects although this practice is known for specialising in community and educational projects.

The Architectural Technician is required to support the practice during a period of growth due to their existing client base expanding. This practice has a range of clients and provide, project input from inception through to completion combined with a flexible service.

The Role: Architectural Technician

- Ability to produce planning application packages
- Able to produce building regulation packages
- Liaise and communicate with different consultants
- Preparation of detailed drawings, layouts, sketches and graphic representations.
- Production of design developments and construction documents along with architectural planning, drafting and detailing.

The Candidate: Architectural Technician

- Live within a commutable distance
- Variety of project experience
- Working knowledge of Revit, Sketchup, and InDesign
- Ability to work well under pressure and hit deadlines
- Good working knowledge of CAD systems
- Flexible attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills
