Finance Administrator / Expenses Clerk with excellent Data Input / Data Entry skills that works to a high level of accuracy is required by a busy Accounts Team with a leading Charity based in Reading, Berkshire.

 

SALARY: £17,200 – £18,200 per annum

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Finance Administrator / Expenses Clerk that has excellent Data Input / Data Entry skills with the ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines.

Working as the Finance Administrator / Expenses Clerk you will ensure all operational expenditure is administered and processed in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with set guidelines and procedures to meet reporting, statutory and auditing requirements.

As the Finance Administrator / Expenses Clerk you will be responsible for processing staff and volunteer expenses on daily basis, and receiving and processing invoices.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Finance Administrator / Expenses Clerk:

  • Receive and process expense claims. This will include checking the expenses for completeness, accuracy and compliance with the expenses and allowances policies
  • Ensuring the claim is correctly coded and inputting the information onto the computerised accounting system
  • Receive and process invoices. This will include ensuring the purchase has been properly authorised in line with approved sign off limits
  • Ensuring the invoice is properly coded and verified, confirming that payment has not already been made and inputting the invoice onto the computerised accounting system within 48 hours of receipt
  • Process payment runs for expenses via BACS
