Information, Advice and Carer Support Worker

Carers Trust Heart of England (formerly Crossroads Care & Coventry Carers Centre) are very pleased to have staff vacancies due to new funding and continuation of contracts.

We aim to improve the lives of family carers by providing information, advice and support to meet their individual needs. Family carers are people who look after relatives, friends or neighbours who cannot manage alone due to illness, disability, old age, mental health needs, substance dependency or disability.

We are pleased to be working in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to recruit the post of Information, Advice and Carer Support Worker to provide information, advice and support to family carers to ensure their individual needs are met and identify hidden carers.

• 37 hours per week
• Salary £21,067 per annum
• Secured funding for 12 months

Successful applicants can join a set induction commencing on the 13th February 2017/13th March 2017 or we can arrange to start an induction to meet a requested start date.
