Permanent Position
Full Time- Monday to Friday 08.30- 17.30

JOB PURPOSE:
To minimise bad debt risks and maximise daily collections of accounts receivable.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To take responsibility for a substantial proportion of the current sales ledger.
2. To ensure that accounts are settled promptly whilst maintaining a positive relationship with our account holders, who are retailers not general public.
3. To establish initial contact by telephone through to county court final seven day action letter.
4. To achieve daily cash received and outbound call targets.
5. To minimise bad debt risk whilst maintaining good customer relations.
6. To work to strict deadlines, either independently or as part of the team.
7. To effectively communicate problems encountered to the Credit Control Supervisor.
8. Monitor 'held orders' and liaise with customers as required.
9. To review customer credit limits using Dunn and Bradstreet.
10. To ensure all relevant paperwork is kept up to date.
11. To undertake extra duties as and when required to support the Accounts department.
