Advertising Manager (Bristol)
25-30k Basic / 10k OTE

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES as our Advertising manager
As our advertising manager you will have the following sales management responsibilities:
* To implement a sales policy as determined by the Group advertising Manager
* To be the driving force in closing each issue
* To make the Group Advertising Manager aware of all potential problems.
* To advise executives on negotiations and ensure that they operate within existing discount parameters and to provide guidance and support on sales difficulties experienced with agencies and clients.
* To take responsibility for ensuring that the sales support material is up to date and standardised for the sales team.
* To keep the Group Advertisement Manager advised on issues affecting the Sales Team including sales difficulties and agency/sales negotiations.
* To deputise for the Group Advertisement Manager in their absence.
As our advertising manager you will have the following Sales Development Management responsibilities:
* To develop a strategy for business development (with the approval of the Group Advertisement Manager) should cover:-
* New clients to magazine
* Category development
* Client sales development and monitoring
* To identify actively and develop new business ideas to a point at which they can be presented to the Group Advertisement Manager/Advertisement Director complete with target accounts and implementation strategy.
* Take responsibility for sales development execution
