Our client is one of the UKs leading direct business insurance providers. They have identified a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Insurance Broker to join their team due to rapid growth.

Position summary

As an Insurance Broker you will manage motor and commercial insurance accounts and be responsible for all areas of insurance in addition to some administrative tasks, your daily role will include:

• Management of motor and commercial insurance accounts
• Management of the entire insurance process from new business, mid-term adjustments, policy renewals and policy retention
• Answering incoming telephone calls and emails, ensuring to direct to the right department
• Filing and retrieving information and documents
• General administration to include photocopying, faxing and printing for all departments when required

About you

The successful candidate will have the required experience and skills to undertake this role including:

• Previous experience in an insurance broking role is essential in addition to an in-depth knowledge on the insurance industry
• Good understanding of current insurance software is desirable, as is the ability to deal with the administration that comes with it
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Organised, self-motivated with the ability to work using their own initiative
