A primary school in Bury are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 class. The role is part time and you be required to work mornings only, Monday to Friday. You will support a wide range of activities including delivering interventions to small groups of children and individuals in order to boost attainment levels.

The successful applicant will:

• Have experience of working with children in an educational setting.
• Be flexible, positive and committed.
• Have the ability to self manage in the delivery of their duties.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting individuals and small groups with their classwork under the direction of the class teacher.
• Reporting and feeding back to the class teacher on children's performance.
• Assisting with planning and preparation of lesson resources.
