Financial Controller

Due to continued success within the technology sectors our client is looking to recruit a new Financial Controller to join their growing Team based in the Newbury Office.

This role is focused on looking after all aspects of the financial management of the company and applicants must have at least two years’ experience as a financial controller and have strong organisation and prioritising skills.

Skills/Experience

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and ability to work closely with external Accountants.
• Day to day involvement in business administration, overseeing/responsibilities and management of the Newbury Office.
• Experience with Sage Line 50 essential – currently running version 2016.
• Management of all accounting operations including sales and purchase ledgers
• Experience with creating financial statements and month end/ year end processes in a timely manor
• Budget and Forecasting
• Credit Control
• Payment of suppliers, salaries and expenses
• VAT Returns
• AAT/ACCA/ CMA or Preferred or qualified by experience

As a Financial Controller you must be an effective communicator and be a resourceful team player who is calm under pressure.

Please note: Our client will provide training and hands on assistance for all in-house sales order processes, CRM/Sage system and administration tasks relating to the Financial Controller role.
