Part Time (3-4 day week)

Our client is a well-established high street solicitors based in Caerphilly. They are seeking a Solicitor, Licenced Conveyancer or Legal Executive to join their friendly and relaxed team as a Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner.

This part time position offers excellent flexibility for the right candidate and may ideally suit an individual returning to work and needing a flexible role to work around family commitments.

Position Summary
As a Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner, your daily role and duties will include:

• Undertaking the role of a conveyancer both freehold and leasehold, ensuring the interests of client, mortgage lender and the firm are protected.
• Advising clients, research, keeping up to date with legal development and complying with all regulatory requirements.
• Drafting and preparing conveyancing documents.
• Monitoring progress and liaising with other lawyer’s estate agents.
• Checking titles/searches.
• Exchanging/completing/financial matters.
• Billing promptly and achieving targets set by the firm.

Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have the required skill and experience to undertake this role, including:

• An experienced Conveyancer or Paralegal/Legal Executive/Solicitor with conveyancing experience
• The ability to run the file through to completion, with advice from partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A friendly and approachable manner
