Our client is an established IT consultancy, offering a range of IT support services and solutions to a range of industries.  Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for anenthusiastic and committed Business Development Executiveto identify new customer accounts and sales opportunities. To carry outover the phone sales pitches and arrange meetings for the external sales team to ultimately bring on new business and develop our existing client customer base.

You will primarily be responsible for promoting our client’s IT services and solutions to potential new customers over the telephone. To look to identify and define an opportunity, to sell a Presales call or face to face meeting to the client for the Presales and External Sales Team to develop and work from there.

You will be a highly motivated individual who thrives in a target driven environment.

To be considered for this position you will ideally:

  • Have telesales experience preferably in an IT background, although candidates with telesales experience from other sectors will be considered.
  • Have a friendly and approachable telephone manner, demonstrating excellent relationship building skills with customers,
  • Take responsibility for schedulingand performing sales pitches
  • Have a structured and organised approach to your work
  • Respond to all client request in an accurate and timely manner
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Identify product and technological solutions and understandcustomers’ needs
  • Have the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Have a good understanding of MS Word, Excel & MS Outlook software

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced with IT and have an understanding of technology requirements within the SME Sector.

Product and internal system guidancewill be provided to support your development and to achieve your sales targets.

Your targets will be set by the Sales Director at our client’s head office in Newbury.
