we are currently registering Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants with experience of working with pupils displaying challenging behaviour, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and special educational needs to work within mainstream schools.

I am working with a school in Bexley who are specifically seeking a 121 TA who can work with a child in Key Stage 1 who displays emotional and behaviour difficulties.

The work of a special needs teaching assistant can vary greatly depending on where they are working and the individual needs of the pupils. You will be working alongside the class teacher, getting a real understanding of the child's needs in order to provide support and guidance at the start of the child?s educational career.

Working on a daily basis, you will need to combine your professional experience and skills to support stimulating curriculum based lessons to various classes.

Responsible for ensuring the effective learning of pupils, you will need to be confident in being able to work as part of a teaching team and in line with different schools strategies & policies.

- NVQ Levels 2 and 3 for Teaching Assistants would be advantageous
- Team-Teach qualification or restraint training would be beneficial but not essential
