The company is a higher education provider with institutions in the UK and across the world.

The Role:

The role holder will be responsible for managing the smooth running of the department, creating and implementing processes, supporting the department (including overseas offices), analysing sales data and creating valuable and actionable reports.

Special focus, and distinct priority, will be given to Performance Management within the department, ensuring that Business Developers' performance is monitored in an accurate and regular manner, and that Performance Management Initiatives are recorded and monitored.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly, and on an ad-hoc basis when needed, produce Performance Reports based on agreed-upon KPIs.
  • Support the Department's Leadership in Performance Management initiatives, and work with the HR department closely when and if needed
  • Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets
  • Manage Agresso for International Business Developers
  • Project managing CRM implementation and delivery across all sites to increase individuals' weekly and monthly targets as a functional reporting tool
  • Overseeing and preparing payroll for international offices
  • Ensure environmental issues and general duty of care is factored into all operational activities
  • Update and maintain sales reports and commissions
  • Organise training (product, CRM etc) for the department
  • Onboarding of a new team members including: account set up and orientation, IT hardware ordering/set up, overview of operating model, team and functions, overview/training of SharePoint, CRM etc
  • Contribute to the evaluation and development of operational strategy and performance in liaison with the executive team
  • Build and nurture relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Complete ad-hoc projects as and when required to support the needs of the business

Key Requirements:

  • Degree educated
  • Able to work in busy high volume environment
  • Proven experience working towards tight deadlines
  • Motivation and flexibility
  • Commitment to the aims & objectives of the service.
  • Extensive experience in FE and / or HE environments
  • Excellent Customer Service experience
  • Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resource.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and manage a varied work load
  • Effective time management and organisation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a strong customer service ethic
