THE COMPANY: Our client is a building civil engineering and joinery contract with 50 years' experience. While they work throughout the UK, their work is predominately in Cumbria, Northumbria and South Scotland.
They are looking to fill a Quantity Surveyor role to allow the companies steady growth.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITES: Quantity Surveyor- Carlisle, Cumbria
The main duties and responsibilities will include, but limited to:
THE CANDIDATE: Quantity Surveyor- Carlisle, Cumbria
They are looking for a candidate who is capable of working within a busy and integrated team. The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Manager, be self-motivated and able to take personal responsibility and ownership of their work.

- Preparation of monthly accounts and final closures
- Placement of sub-contract agreements
- Payment of sub-contractors and preparation of CVR's, along with a working knowledge of the main forms of contract

They are looking for a candidate who is capable of working within a busy and integrated team. The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Manager, be self-motivated and able to take personal responsibility and ownership of their work.

- Relevant QS qualification with previous industry experience
- Full UK driving license
- Proven time-management skills, as this role involves working to tight deadlines
- Excellent people and communication skills
