CARE ASSISTANTS & RGN NURSE

 

Madog Care Group are recruiting for the following for their homes – Madog Care Home (Porthmadog) and The Pines Care Home (Criccieth)

  • RGN Nurse Pay: £14.00 - £16.00 hourly

  • Senior Care Assistants Pay: £8.00 - £9.00 hourly

  • Care Assistants Pay: £7.20 hourly

  • Accommodation from £80 per week (includes all bills) with free wi-fi and within 2 minutes walk of care home

Registered Nurse

We are looking for enthusiastic NMC Registered nurses to join our committed team.

Working closely with the team leaders you will make certain that we fully meet the residents medical, physical and emotional requirements. Ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework. You will work closely with the rest of the team to ensure the residents health & well-being. You will also promote continuous improvement to constantly improve our standards.

You will be experienced in care planning and fully averse with clinical assessment tools. You will demonstrate good leadership skills and clinical knowledge. You will be capable of building close relationships with residents and their families and the rest of the team.

 

Senior Care Assistants

We need friendly, warm-hearted Senior Care Assistants to join us and make a positive difference to the lives of our residents.

You will ensure the health care assistants are fulfilling their roles and support the nurses.

You will assist residents with all their needs whilst striving to maintain their independence.  You will ensure that their care plans are person-centred and delivered.  You will ensure the environment is safe and contribute to making their overall experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

You will attend to our residents needs. This will include assisting them with their washing, maintenance of personal hygiene, dressing, feeding and movement around the home.

You will be expected to maintain accurate records, undertaking ongoing training and get involved in welcoming and training new staff. You will be an integral part of our team and the home.

Generally promoting our residents' independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care.

You will have experience in a care environment and/or hold an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.

Care Assistants

As a Care Assistant you will be expected to provide support and warmth to our residents and their families; helping to promote independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.  This includes:

  • Providing personal care including cleaning, dressing & toileting whilst striving to maintain the independence & dignity of the residents

  • Carrying  out activities with the residents as guided by our Activities Manager

  • Ensuring bedrooms are tidy and comfortable

  • Attend to resident needs including assisting movement around the home, serving meals and drinks, encouraging and assisting in the feeding of residents when required.

NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social care and experience of working in the care industry preferable although full training will be offered for the right person.

You must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
