We are looking to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a leading National Contractor.
With offices throughout the UK, this award winning Build contractor are looking to recruit an experienced Manager to support the existing team.
You will be responsible for managing key members of the supply chain (internally & externally) to ensure the processes are managed effectively and to maximise profit, value and opportunity. You will have responsibility for preparing preferred trading agreements for supply chain partners, recording and communicating the preferred list to the wider business and ensuring the Trade Sponsors are fully engaged with the Supply Chain.
You will report directly into the Central Unit Manager and operationally to the Directors for each of the Business Units.
To be successful in this role ideally you will have:
Previously worked in a similar role within Construction
Experience of delivering procurement programmes
Ability to negotiate and improve contract terms
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels
Budgeting, targeting and forecasting skills
