Primary Teacher - Year 5

The school is a successful primary school in Wirral Local Authority. We are proud to support a diverse portfolio of primary schools and academies within the Merseyside area. We are currently looking to recruit a KS2 Primary Teacher for a full-time post in a Year 5 class starting after half term until July 2017. Our requirements are that you must:

• Hold a qualification with, or leading to, UK Qualified Teacher Status (NQTs and overseas qualified teachers are welcome to apply)
• Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check and full referencing process
• Be passionate about teaching and your specialist age range; a literacy specialism in particular would be an advantage
• Possess the motivation to achieve and add value to a school
• Have proven classroom management skills
• Have a 'pupil-centered' approach to learning
• Be experienced in teaching phonics

You will be expected to:

• Plan, prepare and deliver the primary curriculum to all student abilities using effective differentiation
• Organise your classrooms to create a positive teaching environment, liaising with relevant teaching assistants and support staff to develop effective working relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Maintain discipline through employing various classroom management techniques in line with the school's behaviour management policies
• Monitor pupil's progress and keep records on their development
