Junior Web Developer

This vibrant online marketing company based in Central Milton Keynes specialises in marketing UK gaming websites. They are on the lookout for an enthusiastic front-end web developer with experience in HTML5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript to join their rapidly expanding team.

You will be expected to work closely as a team along with having the ability to work alone to take a brief from concept to completion within the allocated timeframe. Knowledge of working with CMS platforms (WordPress) would be highly advantageous, however a strong and demonstrated knowledge of front-end, web page development will be essential.

The Role:

- To work with the design team, assisting marketing and commercial teams to release site changes as per their requirements.
- Assisting with the design, development and implementation of Wordpress templates, web pages and email marketing.
- Identify and assist with site issues and optimisation.

Required skills:

- Demonstrated ability in the following languages: HTML5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript/JQuery.
- Knowledge of web design best practices and trends, including good understanding of accessibility guidelines and SEO best practice and Git version control.
- Must be able to work as part of a team and provide input as required.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with proven project management skills.
- Must have excellent eye for detail.
- Ability to problem solve and provide solutions.
- Keen to learn new technologies and web standards.
