CNC Machinist

Leading bespoke luxury furniture manufacturer, Mark Asplin Whiteley, is currently looking to recruit a Woodwork CNC 5 axis Machinist to join their expanding team in Whitby. Applicants must have previous woodwork CNC operating experience preferably on Morbidelli or SCM. 

The vacancy is on a temp to perm basis (the right candidate will become permanent after 12 weeks) Hours of work are 8.00-4.30pm, plus overtime, and an hourly pay rate of £9.00 - £14.00 depending on experience. Further training may be offered if needed. The position is to be filled from the first week in April '17. 

The successful candidate must be conversant with the technology, be able to programme the machine for cutting, and able to work without supervision to interpret drawings for the high end bespoke furniture that the company produces, liaising with the workshop craftsmen, whilst looking for ways to creatively use the machine to reduce production times.
