JOB TITLE: Finance Manager
SALARY: GBP25,000 to GBP35,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications & experience
WORKING HOURS: 8.15am to 5.15pm, Monday - Friday, full time
ANNUAL LEAVE: 11.6 weeks per annum, to be taken during School holidays as agreed
THE COMPANY: Our client based in Witham on the Hill, Stamford is a happy and thriving boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 4 to 13 years. They are committed to an education both in and beyond the classroom, thereby enabling the academic, artistic and physical potential of each child to flourish. They currently have the opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their team.
THE ROLE: The Finance Manager reports to the Bursar and works independently on the day-to-day management of all aspects of the School's finances including fee billing, credit control, salaries and pensions, purchasing, banking and cash flow. Furthermore they will work with the Bursar on budgetary control, the preparation of management accounts and liaison with the School's auditors in producing the annual statutory accounts.

- Annual returns: Charity Commission, Companies House
- Budgets, Reporting and Cash Managements.
Finance Manager essential qualifications:
- AAT, CIPP, or similar qualification in accounting practice; alternatively extensive experience to match the same
- A good higher-level degree; alternatively a good A-Level background with substantial workplace experience.
Finance Manager desirable qualifications:
- Chartered Accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA etc.) preferred.
