Job Role:
This is a very wide, varied and interesting role, which will require the Accounts Assistance to be able to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise duties. The main responsibilities are listed below, with the role requiring an all-rounder who can assist senior members of the team when necessary. The role will be over four days a week but full time hours maybe required around month end and during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Bank account reconciliations for three accounts
- Interco statements reconciliation
- Control account maintenance - clear miscellaneous accounts, clear unallocated accounts
- Concur Approvals, Queries and account maintenance
- Monthly interest/lease instalments
- Interco statements
- Review/post/accrue Company cards
- Maintenance of fixed asset register and process CARs
- Pay monthly PAYE / NI / Pension
- National statistics
- Deferred contract revenue
- Petty cash administration
- Cover and assist with AP & AR and other ad-hoc finance duties
Skills & Experience:
- Good working knowledge for Excel including pivot tables
- Knowledge of Sage 1000
- Experience in a previous role for minimum of two years
- Knowledge and experience of Oracle would be desirable
