Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester, Crawley

Protyre are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester to join their team based in Crawley.

As Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including tyre, brake and exhaust fitting and Class 4 and 7 MOT inspections.

The Person
For this role of Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester the successful applicant must be able to demonstrate excellent customer liaison skills and have the ability to sell an array of available services. With a flexible and positive approach you should be able to efficiently work under pressure.  You should be a keen team player with a focus on providing excellent customers service, good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.  You will need an eye for detail and must be literate and numerate.

Applicants should be an approved MOT tester with Vosa and have a full UK driving licence. Experience in exhaust and brake fitting would be advantageous.

Salary - £22,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Hours – average of 45 per week Monday to Saturday
