Exciting opportunity to join a successful team working as a Customer Care Executive in a busy sales department, on a full time basis, earning between £18k - £20k per annum

At Future Health Biobank we are passionate about protecting the future health of children, which is why we concentrate our company in two main areas; stem cell banking and diagnostics.

We are the largest stem cell bank in the UK, having stored more samples then all other UK banks combined and have been established for over 14 years. We fully believe in the value of these services, as well as their present and future possibilities. We offer three core services for stem cell banking; umbilical cord, dental pulp and adipose tissue.

We currently have a vacancy for a Customer Care Executive to join our successful sales team to focus on targeted selling, mainly with incoming leads but also some cold calling, based on the Nottingham Science & Technology Park.

Due to the nature of the product we sell, great customer service skills and an ability to adapt attitudes to match the customer is essential.  We are looking for an individual with extensive sales experience who enjoys working in a target structured environment.  There will be an opportunity to take ownership and develop a new part of the business with great commission potential.

After sales care is also required to provide information and results of the service to the client.  The successful applicant must feel comfortable speaking with clients about sensitive information, although extensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling client calls and email queries appropriately and responding to questions;
  • Sending company information packs to clients;
  • Successfully obtaining client sales and work in a targeted environment;
  • Attending off site promotional activities within the UK;
  • Handling international clients and sales via telephone where there is no local representative;
  • Controlling sales in the diagnostic division of the business;
  • Undertaking cold calling sessions when required;
  • Controlling client registrations and continual client interaction;
  • Ensuring the Company databases are kept up to date with client information;
  • Continuous training and development for active selling techniques and competitor arguments;
  • Supporting the Customer Care Administrator in finalising client registrations;
  • Providing on call cover throughout the year;

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable sales experience with proof of exceeding targets;
  • Significant customer care experience;
  • Previous experience of selling within the scientific industry or an industry where product knowledge is extensive;
  • Good communicator both verbally and in writing at all levels;
  • Good knowledge of IT systems and computer literacy;
  • High attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to adapt in a fast paced environment;
  • Being able to work as part of an extremely busy team, taking on additional responsibility, as well as using own initiative with regards to problem solving;
  • Ability to be self motivated and work with minimum supervision;

Terms & Benefits:

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday;
  • Salary of between £18k - £20k per annum;
  • Bonus potential;
  • On-Call Allowance;
  • 23 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), rising to 25;
  • Contributory Company Pension Scheme;
