Our client specialises in providing data centre, cloud, connectivity and voice solutions. As a result of their continued year-on-year growth, they are now seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their team.
Within a progressive environment, you will receive support from Senior Project Managers, as well as ongoing mentoring and training, to ensure that you succeed in your role.
As a Junior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for co-ordinating and overseeing a range of small to medium projects.
In this diverse role, you’ll ensure that our client’s multi-product, multi-site solutions are delivered within agreed timescales, budget and to a high standard.
You’ll liaise with colleagues, customers and third party suppliers to define, agree and document project delivery plans.
Creating risk and issue logs, you’ll ensure that any at-risk projects are effectively managed and brought back on track. Additionally, you’ll provide frequent, proactive status updates to customers and ensure that any issues are swiftly resolved.
As part of your role, you will be required to undertake some travel to customer sites.
Your other duties will involve:
- Arranging and attending occasional customer and supplier meetings
- Creating and maintaining resource plans
- Ensuring that all billable aspects of projects are invoiced accurately
- Completing customer satisfaction surveys and Lessons Learned reviews
Interested? To be considered, you must have previous experience of managing or co-ordinating IT and/or technical projects. Excellent written, verbal and face-to-face communication skills are also key.
Organised and detail-oriented, as the Junior Project Manager, you must be passionate about delivering great customer service. You must also be resourceful with ability to work proactively to tight deadlines.
Ideally, you’ll have an up-to-date accreditation in a recognised PMP qualification, such as PRINCE2. Experience of MS Project would also be advantageous.
