Due to continuing business success and growth we now have a fantastic opportunity available for a Solutions Developer to join our team in Taunton.

Solutions Developer responsibilities:

• Identifying, scoping, designing, building, implementing and integrating Solutions across the business.
• Undertaking development work ensuring design principles are adhered to and components are reused wherever possible.
• Assisting in requirements gathering for new enhancements and development of existing solutions.
• Advising on the creation and execution of test scripts, as required.
• Management of the SharePoint Administration console to monitor site usage and resources.
• Representing ICT as a key member of the Super User Community Group.
• Providing training and guidance to 2nd line support.
• Liaising with Microsoft to provide third line support for issues that cannot be resolved by 2^nd line support
• Staying current with roadmaps and emerging trends
• Provision of IT expertise to support business process enhancement
• Ensuring the timely fulfillment of all reported incidents, assisting first line and second line support where necessary to fulfill internal SLA’s.
• Ensuring Service Level Agreements are met, both internally and externally.
• Developing procedures and carry out administration tasks to ensure information system configuration is aligned with the company’s requirements
• Contributing as a key member of the ICT team to help achieve the departments aims with respect to appropriate efficient and effective solutions to the ever changing and demanding needs of the Company

The ideal Solutions Developer:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.
• Knowledge of MS SQL and SharePoint and Testing Methodologies.
• Knowledge of SharePoint and Office 365.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills; both written, oral, interpersonal and presentational.
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.
• Highly self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience of Web Application development including C#, .net framework, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Experience implementing and working with middleware technologies, preferably BizTalk and Gimmal.
• Full UK Driving license.

In return for this Solutions Developer position, we can offer a salary of up to £38,000 - £44,000 per annum for a Company that strives to be environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.
