Our client is currently looking for a maintenance engineer to work at their Cannock and Worcester sites.
Candidates need experience working with plant or manufacturing machinery.
The job entails being responsible for carrying out all planned and reactive maintenance, for plant and manufacturing environments.
You must be able to maintain and repair all the production and process manufacturing equipment. If you have experience with CNC equipment this would be an advantage, as their toolroom has a number of these. C&G 17th edition a must; experience with automation cells a big plus. Overall building and facility maintenance and reactive repairs are also part of the job requirement.
You will be responsible for finding, engaging with and managing external suppliers when required, setting up planned service agreements for particular items of plant, where appropriate. You need a planned preventative maintenance mindset, or preferably a PPM background. It should be obvious to you but, if not, you will have a flexible attitude to working outside of normal hours, able to display initiative and a pro- active can-do attitude.
