Are you a groundcare contractor, landscaper or experienced with groundcare machinery? Do you have excellent customer skills with the ability to deliver, demo and install groundcare equipment for one of the leading companies in the UK?

Hours: 8am – 5pm – Monday to Friday. Overtime will be available at different times of the year.

Established in 1947, we are a family business who have steadily grown to become one of the most exciting Groundcare Dealerships in the South of England. Dealing with a wide range of Councils, Schools, Sportsgrounds and Private Estates, our business is built around supplying our customers with high quality groundcare machinery and then providing expert maintenance & support via our workshops.

The Groundcare Machinery Operator / Driver Role:

We now Sell, Hire and Repair a range of specialist machinery to golf courses, councils, schools and other professional groundcare users. It’s a busy depot and we are looking for an experienced machinery operator who is able to deliver and install the machinery using our 7 ½ ton lorry. You will also be required to help cover deliveries / installations from our Reading depot, this will approximately be two days per week, so ideally you would live somewhere in between the two branches.

There will be a lot of customer contact so you need to be professional and friendly, well organised and extremely practical – we need someone that can get around problems rather than just flag them up! The paperwork has to be right but we also need to make sure that the installations aren’t just a ‘tick box’ exercise, we need customers to be left with a clear understanding of how to get the best from the machine.

You may have worked in the following capacities:
Machinery Demonstrator, Groundcare Machinery Operator, Groundcare Machinery Driver, LGV Driver, Groundcare Contractor, Landscaper.
