Working as the Internal Business Development Sales Executive / Client Account Manager you will proactively contact current and potential new prospects to secure and grow new business.

As the Internal Business Development Sales Executive / Client Account Manager you will have an excellent telephone manner with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers. You should also have a good track record generating new opportunities within a telesales / telemarketing or similar outbound role.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Internal Business Development Sales Executive / Client Account Manager:

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts (small & dormant)
  • Responsible for growing existing turnover and achieving targets
  • Ensure continued support for existing customers
  • Monitor account fluctuations to ascertain month-on-month variances
  • Profile key accounts to identify possible areas for development
  • Cross sell all brands across all accounts
  • Report monthly on activity levels and areas of development
  • Deliver promotional and targeted campaigns
  • Reactivate dormant accounts
  • Create new opportunities through thorough research before and during each call
  • Work closely with the external team to support and identify opportunities for growth
  • Help to enhance the external sales force and their offer to customers
  • Record all interactions with customers using the CRM system and follow up all opportunities and enquiries within expected time frames

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Good track record in a telesales / telemarketing or telephone customer service role that involved selling and used to making a high number of proactive outbound calls to existing customers and prospects
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Previous experience in an outbound role
  • Proven record of call volumes of approximately 80-90 calls a day
  • Proven record of qualifying and closing deals with a substantial conversion rate
  • Proven record of generating new opportunities and bringing in new accounts
