Field Engineer

Our client is a national support provider to the waste and recycling industry based in Liverpool. They are currently looking for a Field Engineer in the London area as their core business attribute is a fleet of national field engineers strategically located to provide key local support. The field engineers have an exceptional first-time fix rate aided by the fully stocked vehicles and can provide reactive call outs and Planned Preventative Maintenance visits 7 days a week.

They also specialise in sales of new and used equipment,??refurbishment programs of customer owned assets and an extensive range of parts for the majority of waste equipment manufacturers.

Job Brief:
??? Experienced engineer needed to cover London and the Surrounding area
??? Experience in hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault finding on waste compaction and waste baling equipment
??? Will carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive repair breakdowns
??? Will need a good sense of general awareness and health and safety as will be working alone the majority of the time.
??? Self-employed with own van mobile would be accepted but also directly employed with a van and phone provided
??? Job specific tools will be provided.
??? Salary is negotiable
??? Working hours are from 8 ??? 5 Monday ??? Friday with weekend on call work rota - one per month plus overtime when available.
??? Candidate must be willing to travel across the whole country for staff cover or two man job working
??? Daily schedule of work will be sent out via email the night before for next day???s work
??? Knowledge of 3 phase circuits
??? Overnight stays required
