Full time – 35 hours per week

Our client is a well-known local charity supporting people with learning disabilities and their families in and around the Harrow area. This post is a key role within their registered care agency which is within their ‘Care and Support Services’.

Care Agency Field Supervisor

They are looking for a dynamic individual to fill this vacancy.

The role will include:

• Working as part of the team
• Setting up and overseeing care and support packages
• Monitoring individual services and staff performance
• Assisting the manager in covering the staff rota and providing cover yourself where needed
• Attending and facilitating team meetings
• Supervising community based staff who provide support and personal care to individuals with a range of care and support needs

They need you to have the following skills and qualities:

• Demonstrate a can do attitude and flexible approach
• Good leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and administration skills
• Ability to prioritise and manage own workload in a high pressure setting
• Ability to listen to their clients and act upon their requests
• Ability to manage your own team of support workers
• Ability to write up assessments and support plans, fully involving their clients

They are a small friendly team and are looking for someone who has previously worked within the care sector (ideally an agency setting) and has the appropriate level of experience to undertake this challenging but rewarding role.
