If you’re an analytical audit and compliance professional with experience of working with awarding organisations, this is an excellent opportunity to help uphold the outstanding reputation of a thriving business. 

Our client is the UK's largest awarding organisation for first aid qualifications. They are now looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team.

As the Compliance Manager, you’ll ensure that our client complies with regulators’ conditions and requirements. 

Working closely with managers and their teams, you’ll ensure that our client continues to operate effectively as an awarding organisation. Specifically, you will: 

- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks 
- Monitor the company’s compliance and take corrective action when required 
- Guide and assist staff with regulatory issues 
- Record, monitor and manage conflicts of interest within the organisation 
- Implement self-evaluation, review and improvement processes 
- Manage the risk register, ensuring that contingency plans are implemented effectively 
- Support improvement projects 
- Attend industry events and conferences to gather sector and market intelligence 

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need a degree (or equivalent). Experience of the following is also essential: 

- Audit and compliance activities 
- Risk management and the processes involved 
- Working with and interpreting regulatory frameworks 
- Working with or within an awarding organisation 

As the Compliance Manager, you will have excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior-level staff. A superb eye for detail and great analytical skills are also key. 

Knowledge of the current developments within the education sector would be beneficial, as would experience gained in an educational or regulatory environment.
