Gas Engineer (Servicing & Breakdowns)

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 plus generous benefits

Based: Gloucester, South West

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, facilities management, void property refurbishments, insurance activity, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

About The Gas Engineer Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our team in Gloucester. Reporting to the Supervisor, the role will require you to carry out gas installations, breakdowns, day to day repairs, fault finding and annual servicing to domestic gas appliances.

Naturally, you will be technically competent and qualified. Recognised and respected by your peers as a 'senior' service engineer, you will have sustained high levels of productivity and performance and also have the capacity to lead others when required. Your contribution will sustain our reputation for innovative and excellent customer service, giving us a unique selling point in our sector.

Specifically the Gas Engineer will:

  • Add value to all that you do whilst delivering exceptional customer service
  • Support your team unconditionally
  • Lead colleagues where appropriate in delivering solutions to complex problems
  • The position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform and a tablet and training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.

The ideal Gas Engineer:

The successful candidate should have experience in the social housing market.

CCN1 / CENWAT / CPA1 / CKR1 / G3Unvented Domestic Hot Water / PartP / TETRA / Asbestos Awareness / Working at Heights / Manual Handling

  • You must hold a valid UK Driving Licence as a company vehicle will be provided (for work use only).
  • Although not essential having the following qualifications would be advantageous:
  • As a minimum you should have the following competencies:
  • You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Gas Engineer role & have experience in servicing, breakdowns and full installations including all making good. You should be a customer focused individual, experienced in working in occupied properties with a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit.
