Administrator / Stores Operative

This leading specialist in the design and manufacture of Mechanical Seals and Support Systems is looking for an Administrator/Stores Operative.

The job holder will assist and integrate into the bearing protection team, carrying out a wide range of tasks, primarily focusing on administration.

Role Requirements
- Iguana sheets - Process customer orders which are received from the commercial office. This involves raising works orders and purchase order as well as progressing items which are already on order either with the workshop internally or external suppliers.
- Ship List - requires the person to ensure that seals that are due to ship on the day are completed and therefore despatched/invoiced.
- End of day - To ensure all orders are carried forward if required and to inform workshop when jobs are due using priority report.
- Design Administration - Create items and process design tasks through their PLM software. Set up bills of materials for parts and assembly par codes.
- Seal Assembly - Assist in assembling bearing isolators when required.

N.B this list is not exhaustive, the job holder is required to carry out reasonable tasks within his/her level of skill

Essential Qualifications:
5 GCSE's grade C or above (or equivalent)

Skills and Knowledge:
- To be able to priorotise your own workload
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- IT Literate

Experience
Previous experience in an administration based role

Desirable but not essential:
- A higher relevant qualification would be desirable
- Knowledge of stock control systems
