We are seeking a highly motivated teaching assistant to work within a busy Foundation unit in an Oldham primary school. The class consists of 45 pupils and you will be working alongside an experienced EYFS team who will support you throughout your time at the school. The Headteacher is committed to raising standards and motivating all children to achieve their best. The successful candidate will actively contribute towards this goal.

We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 or above qualification in working with children.
- Has experience of working with children in a school or nursery environment.
- Is organised, flexible and dedicated.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals and small groups of children with activities in and out of the classroom in line with the Early Years Learning goals.
- Monitoring children's progress and recording observations in their individual learning profiles.
- Assist with the daily preparation of learning activities.
- Communicating with staff and parents/carers on children's performance.
- Supervising and assisting in the dining room at lunchtimes.
