Job Title: MEP 2D CAD Draughter

The company is a building services engineering consultancy with over 60 years' experience across all market sectors.

They are currently recruiting for an MEP 2D CAD Draughter required to join their M&E Engineering department.

Job Role:

You will support the CAD Manager and M&E project team by producing drawings using Auto CAD and assisting in the issue of drawing and the Supply Chains. This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the North West's largest specialist building services consultancies.

You will be working on projects of all sectors of the construction industry including; Residential, Industrial, Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure and Retail on project values up to and occasionally exceeding £50 million

Key Accountabilities:

• Direct responsibility for the quality of CAD data produced.
• Adhere to Company CAD standards.
• Plot drawings using Company printing facility.
• Liaise with Company CAD Manager and project team for any CAD related issues.
• Liaising with lead project engineer and project team.
• Store CAD files correctly in the project Document Management System.
• Assist the team to issuing the drawings in electronic or hard copies.

The Candidate:

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years' experience of Building services CAD Coordination environment specifically within M&E engineering and be fluent on AutoCAD MEP.

You will have knowledge of UK standards and specifications.
