Our school located in Scarborough has a recently refurbished three form entry, modern building and fantastic grounds. More importantly they have amazing children and a strong team of staff who work hard to ensure that everyone learns to succeed.

This is a temporary role initially but could be extended for the right candidate.

Have you got the ambition and enthusiasm to join a team that are focused on inspiring pupils by using creative and engaging learning skills? If so we ask that you:

*Have a level 3 or 4 teaching assistant qualification
*Experience of working in KS1 and/or2
* Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
*Have the ability to build relationships with pupils, parents and staff

Responsibilities:
* Communicating with parents and carers over pupils progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents evenings and whole school training events
* Providing assistance to classroom teacher
* Support pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 basis
* Participating in and organising extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities and sporting events
